Q: What style guide do you use?
A: A modified version of the AP Stylebook. I tend to change some things that help with clarity since I’m not writing news stories. Naturally, this doesn’t apply to direct quotes from a source.
Q: Twitter or X?
A: We say Twitter in this house. X is child’s idea of what a cool company name is. Dumb and stupid.
Q: Why don’t you have [insert whatever topic/event you care about]?
A: It’s impossible to do everything on my own. Even if I had a crew of other researchers it’d be impossible to cover everything. Additionally, I tend to research topics and events that have a lot of misinformation/disinformation surrounding them.
